One of the most frequent questions I am asked here at the Home Office is, "Where is the best place to buy a used bike in Prague?"
I don't know where the best place is, but I do know of one place that sells used bikes. I've steered a number of readers there over the years, and they've always written back with positive comments.
It's called Megabazar-Zastavarna and it's located at Veletržní 23/234 in Prague 7 -- Holešovice. They've always got a bunch of mountain bikes for sale in the window.
And they've even got an English version of their website.
I must admit to never having set foot in the place, so my recommendation is anecdotal, but the place does seem to have fit the bill for many folks.
Perhaps some other readers out there know a few other good places in Prague to buy used bikes. Leave a comment and we can get a good thread going.

Can you tell me, what would be the price for such a bike? Nothing fancy, an old Czechoslovakian model would do it..
Hard to say, Szymon. I'd guess a used bike would probably cost around 2,000 CZK or so (around $100).
